LISA BERNSTEIN
CO-HEAD COACH

Coach Bernstein begins her 15th season at the University of Minnesota and is very excited about the potential for the 2007 Gopher Softball season. We have 7 starters returning from the 2006 team which will be instrumental in our success this season.

Coach Bernstein works with the Gopher catchers, outfielders, hitters and is instrumental in the day to day operations of the Gopher softball program.

Coach Bernstein has coached numerous All-Americans in her career and became the winningest coach in Minnesota history in the spring of 2001. Coach Bernstein played softball at the University of Arizona and helped coach the Wildcats to a National Championship in 1991. Coach Bernstein brings over twenty years of experience to North Country Softball and has conducted camps all over the United States.

Coach Standering also began her 15th season at the University of Minnesota and believes that this years squad has the mental and physical toughness to compete with any team in the nation. Coach Standering will focus on taking the 2007 Gopher team to the next level and she will rely on the experience of our 7 returning ball players coupled with our 4 incoming players.

Coach Standering is responsible for infield play, left handed slap hitting, base-running, conditioning and mental enhancement. She is also the Gophers primary recruiting coordinator and travels throughout both Minnesota and the United States searching for talent.

Coach Standering had an impressive career at the University of Arizona where she was named a 1st Team All-American shortstop in 1991. She also earned gold medals in the National Sports Festival and Pan Am Games. Coach Standering has over 14 years of camp experience helping youth throughout the United States improve their skills.

JENN WHITE

Coach White begins her fifth year with the Gopher Softball team and we are all very excited to have her on our staff. Coach White was a standout pitcher at Florida State University and won numerous awards and recognition during her career. Coach White will work with all of the pitchers in our camp and we know you will be impressed with her knowledge and expertise.

The camp staff will also include some of the finest college players from throughout the country, including All Americans and past professional ball players.
